Buying and Selling Real Estate During COVID-19

Alert Level 3

During Alert Level 3 our primary objective is to prevent and limit the risk of outbreak or spread of COVID-19. Remote and virtual real estate processes are preferred and encouraged. Private viewings, specialist inspections, pre-settlement inspections and property appraisals are permitted under Level 3, provided we have the written consent of vendors and all health requirements are met.

COVID-19 Level 3 Pre Registration

Under Alert Level 3, we are able to offer private viewings provided all health guidelines are adhered to. Prior to any property visits, we require each person in the property or visiting the property to complete a registration form which will be stored securely in our system.

Alert Level 2

At Alert Level 2 our offices will re-open and we are able to meet in person again, providing the public health guidelines are adhered to. These guidelines include maintaining physical distancing, use of face coverings, scanning the provided NZ COVID Tracer app QR code or providing details on the contact tracing register, and using hand sanitiser.

Alert Level 1

At Alert Level 1 we can operate with no restrictions in place, however we still need to adhere to any public health guidance to ensure we all stay safe and reduce the risk of COVID-19 returning to the community.
