Cooper & Co Real Estate Limited started in Dunedin in 1991. Martin Cooper, our Managing Director, decided that rather than just selling real estate he wanted to run a real estate business that was different to any other currently in the market place. He wanted a business that thought about their clients wants and needs and made sure that they were met. He wanted the best people working for him – those with the same mindset of service first.
In 1997, Martin then made the bold move to relocate to Auckland’s North Shore and has never looked back. He was invited to join Harcourts, New Zealand’s largest real estate company, that same year, starting with just two offices on the North Shore. Throughout the years, Martin and a few trusted business partners have grown from two offices to 16 offices across the North Shore & North West of Auckland. Now providing a number of real estate services, such as residential, commercial, rural and lifestyle property for sellers, buyers, renters and investors.
We are very proud of a number of things in our business but most importantly we are so proud of how we look after our customers, ensure that they get the very best service and that they are happy with the results they get. There’s a number of things that contribute to that end result but we believe it all starts at the very beginning of any relationship. We are committed to being better, to providing better service than others and ensuring we provide a better result each and every time.
At Harcourts Cooper & Co we are dedicated to supporting our local community and we are one of the few real estate company’s with a dedicated Community Relationship team. In 2013 we started by supporting over 75 Greater North Shore sponsorships and events. Now in 2021 we consistently support over 400 Greater North Shore & North West sponsorship and events in the community. Over the last 7 years events that Harcourts Cooper & Co have been involved in helped our local community raise over $6 million. These events ranged from school fairs, sausage sizzles, raffles to trivia nights, fundraising dinners and charity auctions and lots of others in between.
